Back to School 2017
House of Healing Ministries (HOHM), a 501c3 organization, is excited to announce its partnership with Integrity Dental for their 2017 community “Back to School Initiative” on Saturday, July 22, 2017. This event includes Free Dental Screenings, Free Backpack with School Supplies, Free Food, Face Painting and much more. This event takes place at the Southern Hill’s Medical Center. HOHM has supported various Back to School events over the past four years. We are now elated to side with Dr. Jacqueline Mitchell, DDS and the Integrity Dental Care organization.
Integrity Dental Care’s mission is to help their underserved community of children by providing a quick dental screening. Parents are made aware of the state of their children’s dental care need before the school year begins. Additionally, Dr. Mitchell would like to provide backpacks with a few needed school supplies to help propel the school year to a winning start. The community Integrity Dental Care serves includes Hispanic, White, African American, Vietnamese, Indian, Kurdish, Arab, the Congo, and refugees from Thailand. We’d like to say Integrity Dental Care is in a less fortunate melting pot community. The children of this less fortunate melting pot community need Dr. Mitchell’s Back to School Initiative and they are the reason HOHM plans to be involved.
We want you to partner with us in helping Integrity Dental’s Back to School Initiative. Collectively, we want to ensure our donations are received by youth who other wise do not receive dental care nor needed school supplies. Last year with help from the local community and the business partnerships of Integrity Dental over 250 children received dental screens and 450 backpacks were filled with school supplies. This year with the help of Colgate, Evans’ Catering Service and your support we are expecting to supersede those numbers.

Sponsor as a Partner of the event by donating $500 to $5000

Follow- up letter inclusive of number of participants and photo’s

If you are interested in contributing here are a list of needed items;
Prepackaged Food Items to include but not be limited to items such as;
Fruit cups, apple slices, halo oranges
Healthy Chips (i.e baked chips, pretzels, veggie chips), or popcorn
Water
String cheese
Granola Bars
School Supplies such as;
Pencils, pens, glue sticks, notebook paper, spiral notebooks, rulers, folders, hand sanitizers Kleenex, crayons, and erasers, along with a new backpacks.
